Concept preferences, design tastes, and valuing systems vary depending on the reviewer. There is no standard correct way of reviewing every website, but constructive feedback and possible suggestions to correct design flaws are encouraged. Remember that reviews are opinions and should not be stated as facts unless directly supported by them.

I. Reviewers - Use the following information for more constructive reviews:
1. Compliments
a. Identify unique and favorite parts of the site
b. Describe your reasoning behind why you like it and what sets it a part from other sites in the same industry
2. Improvements
a. Identify the potential problem you have with the site or where it could use improvement
i. Speed
ii. Functionality
iii. Bugs
iv. SEO keywords
v. Optimize for mobile
vi. Content
vii. Design
Viii. Domain
b. Recommend a solution to the problem
c. Explain the reasoning behind the solution and how it will resolve the problem
3. Summary
a. Compare and contrast the positive and negative attributes of the site
b. Express a unified opinion of the site based on all its attributes

III. Website Owners
1. Include the following information for more accurate and efficient reviews and appraisals:
a. Did you create or acquire it?
b. Which market and industry is it best suited?
c. What is your target demographic?
d. Do you already have a value in mind for selling it?
e. What is the age of the website?
f. What traffic does the website pull in and what is its demographics?
g. Do you have a subscription newsletter or email list and how large is it?
h. What’s the relevant statistics for your site? e.g. impressions, SEO pagerank, click through rates, etc.
i. Does your website generate revenue, and if so, how much?
j. Are there assets/inventory associated with the website, what are they and what’s their fair market value?
k. What are your major competitors’ websites and do you have any statistics on them? E.g. revenue, traffic, acquisition cost, etc.
l. What are the reviews on your domain?
m. Do you have other reviews about your site already?
n. Does your site have any backlinks?
