These cost $39 for two years from http://www.vc . However, their registration system is slow (took me two weeks to reg each name) and cumbersome, which probably explains why there are still premium words available. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who gets anxious easily.

Hi armstrong, Congratulations on registering a .vc domain. There is one advantage in registering this domain. ie., Even if you fail to renew this domain, the dot vc registry does not let your domain to expire(HAHA HA HA). ie., you continue to be the owner of the domain. I had about 20 .vc premium domain and i failed to renew 9 of them and still those domains are not expired. ).
But one disadvantage is, you cant register a domain owned by someone and who have failed to renew it.
