Ive seen quite a few namepro members suggesting they developing the bulk of there domains. Im wondering what techniques/resources do people use to develop a site quickly.

Im one of these lazy, 2 minute attention span type people :hehe: , and other than 1 major site im working on, i cant imagine developing 20 or 30 little websites.

How do you do it? Where do you get the time?

Do those sites develop traffic and advertising revenue. Obviously if you really put into a site and work hard at it...you got a good chance of success, but to create quick and dirty websites. Whats the best method/s

Any advice very very much appreciated.

I work on my pages while watchin TV/listenin to music...basically what I do while I code anything else. My arsenal consists of Kwrite for the editing, Zend Studio for the PHP work, and the Gimp for my image editing.

Start off with something VERY basic, but presentable. Maybe even just a top logo and a construction banner. Put more on the site as you get the time to do so. I don't recommend using a WYSIWYG editor like Dreamweaver or Frontpage to just slap content up there...people who do web design alot can tell that it was just thrown together in an editor.

Well the most effective way is to have the money to pay freelancers to do most of the work, then you are more like a project manager.

I get so many ideas I want to develop and I end up not having anything finished! Wish I had the funds to hire some freelance designers and programmers.

But where's the fun in that?

Once I get an idea I work fast, but getting ideas takes time. Somebody, sell me an idea?

if you want to develop a site quickly...there are free downloadable layouts if you search.

my ideas mainly come from magazines and (would you believe it?) tv advertisements...!

Do those sites develop traffic and advertising revenue? Obviously if you really put into a site and work hard at it...you got a good chance of success, but to create quick and dirty websites. Whats the best method/s

well the answer to this does not entirely depend on the web design/layout. in my experience, traffic/revenue depends mostly on the contents of your site and if your site is properly linked to "known" sites...
