Hi guys,

Can you please check out http://www.2ecards.com/? I am getting a random error:

"Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.33 Server at www.2ecards.com Port 80"

and I do not know what is causing the problem. Sometimes it all looks OK, and the next click brings out the error message. I am wondering if the problem can be recreated by someone else than me.

Thanks!

Absolutely no errors here. Is the solution found or is it your computer?

No solution...I still can see error messages. The weird part is they happen randomly, and I have no idea what is the cause...I talked to the Tech support, and they said that everything seems to be working ok...

Why do I see those error messages then?

Could it be the settings on your computer?

I am not sure...It happens only to two sites hosted on that server...and this is the first time I have seen that error. Weird...

How long do you browse it? Have you cleared the cache?

Yes, I have...it does not matter how long I browse the site...I just click randomly on the links, and most work fine, until all of a sudden the error apprears...

Well, I didn't browse it that long. Let me check again. First though, how long do you browse, how many links?

It's all very random...It can happen on the first link, or the 12th, or the next...

A very wierd problem...Thanks, TheComputerGeek247! I hope someone else can see it too, so I can prove to the Tech support it is not my computer acting strange...

For example, right now I am clicking on http://www.vladkolarov.com/portfolio/cartoon-logos/.

5 times I got the error message. I came here to post the link, went back...and it worked...

It is your computer. I just clicked 20 times and nothing happened. All random and different links including the one that did not work shortly for you. Either that or it is that your IP is stored and somehow not getting connectivity. Have you tried it on another computer on another network? Have you tried on your computer on another network?

Thanks, TheComputerGeek247! I am still not convinced that it is my computer, but it is good to hear noone else sees the error message.

No...I am testing it only in Firefox. I have never had problems with the browser before. I'll have to test it with IE. Good idea! Thanks!

Well...either the server is fixed, or my computer. I am testing the sites in both IE and Firefox, and they act normally...Phew. It was really a weird problem...

Thanks everybody!
