i want to set up an internet radio station, can you install any software to a normal web host , like install shoutcast or any other software.

Shoutcast is run off your own PC =)

yea i no but is there any way of gettin to run the station from standard server, say if you install a script or software

As far as im aware you can send your shoutcast stream to a webserver in which turn will then send it out to users listneing. Find a shoutcast webhoster and then ask them for more details
