is there a tool or a way to see a specific domains cached site info for a specific date? say for example if i wanted to see what the search engines saw/cached in website 'xyxyxyxyxy.com' as of may 8th for example.....

i need to know this information as soon as possible, so if anyone knows where i can find this...please let me know...i will give 250NP$ (edit) to the 1st 5 people who tell me 'different' places to find this info, and if i am able to get the info i am looking for, i will give an extra 1000NP$ (edit) to the 1st person who will be directly responsable for me finding the info i need...which is mainly the cached title, meta description and meta keywords in the cached source....of course if i have the whole source, that would be even better, but the previous 3 elements are the most important to me....

Edit : to be more specific, i need this cached info for 2005....i need to be able to compare a few different days between april and may 2005...

I believe krustie is right. The only website I know that does this is http://www.archive.org which you already mentioned.

Try this...TRUST ME, it works. Got some great info:

http://www.urltrends.com/

Enter the URL

Then

DMOZ Listed: No
Archive.org Listed: Yes (71 results)
Cache: View Latest ( View All )

Under cache click (View All)

Worked great for me! Archive.org listings seemed better too for some reason.

Drats, you let the cat out of the bag. :D

But I agree with Ben42, guys. It's actually still in development, but it's very,
very good!

It is really great how it sums up everything on 1 page. No more off to Alexa and a pagerank page and archive, ect.

FYI though, if you run it you'll get about 30 bots to your site checking it out and adding it to updates and such.

Thanks for all the feedback and encouragement guys, i really appreciate it, urltrends.com has some very nice tools and i will most definately be using it....but sadly for the cached history part, it only seems to give the current days cached info....so my problem isnt solved yet and the 1000NP$ are still up for grabs.....however, i will give 250NP$ to Ben42 and davezan for the effort and making me aware of this site which will surely come in handy...
