Watermark to logo in illustrator.

Hello.

I would like to put watermarks to my logos, but is it somehow possible to do it in illustrator? Something little professional, that people still see logo also.

I have tryed writing just my webpage name over logos and made that name with grey, but it is not best choise i think. Any ideas?

file -> scripts -> add watermark

It depends what program you are using. If you are using photoshop you can set the transparency of your logo on top of the art/logo layer. This is a somewhat simple way to accomplish what you want.

You would then make a copy of the photoshop file as a flat jpg and thats what the client would see (the logo with the light watermark.) If they buy your work...then you send the the file however they want it...minus the watermark.logo layer.

One more question....

If i make logo in illustrator, then eyedropper tool shows ai file logo color EBAA24.
But when i start to save it to gif (Save for web), then color is EBAA25
Same jpg file shows also different codes, but from computer monitor the color looks same.

Help.
