.US domains.US domains
Their resale value as domain names alone is nothing, IMO.

WatchStorm.com is the only one that has any potential. You'll need to develop it.

WhereTicket(s) just doesn't make any sense as a 2 word combo. It's kind of awkward to say outloud.

Would it make a difference that these domains have the following keyword metrics?

Thanks,

Why do you prefer a a .org to a .com? And where can you register free .org domains? Namecheap, for example, charges as much for a .org as a .com.

Also, could you put a price tag on the potential you see in watchstorm?

Thanks,

I think he was saying that watchstorm.org is free to reg, as in, it's still available... And .org seems more appropriate, because weather type services usually aren't commercial based. Who pays to get weather information? Therefore the organization seems more legit.

I personally don't think either of these make much sense. There just seems to be something grammatically wrong with watchstorm.com If the noun is first, usually it's the dominant word and can be supported by a verb as a second word. Example, StormWatch.com would be a good domain. If the noun is the second word, it usually is preceeded by an adjective, such as onlinepoker, cellphone, homeloan. I don't know of many verbnoun.coms that make sense, but I'm sure there are exceptions. However, I don't think these are exceptions.

Personally I think this would have more application as a site that sells watches... At least the domain name would make sense given the context.

Yep. That makes sense. Well, live and learn...

Still, I think I'll hang on to the domain for a bit, park it, and see what kind of traffic I get.

Definitely. Do like my man Ron Popeil does, Set it and Forget it! <audience applause> Park it on Sedo with a "Make Offer" price, if it doesn't sell within the year, let it drop. There may be someone who is interested in it and will surprise you.
