Yes, they raised their prices to $7.99 for .org, .biz, and .us.

.com is still $5.99 and .net is $5.89 for new registrations. :D
All .COM,.NET,.ORG, .INFO, .NAME, .BIZ, .US transfers from another registrar are still $5.99

This is due to mandated increase from the registry.

All are getting higher ... gas increase in effect across the board.
