I have a script which was being updated by somebody who disappeared. It's 99% completed, but there are still a few bugs which need to be sorted out. The code is a mixture of html/php/css.
After which I want an audit of the script's compliance with xhtml/css3/php5 and it's compatability with IE9. This will include replacing all tables with divs.
Any applicant must demonstrate having at least 3 years experience in php/css programming, and the ability to replace all the tables, with ease. Have reasonable knowledge of sql databases.
For an experience programmer, I would expect squashing the remaining bugs might be a days work. Replacing all the tables, I don't know, maybe 1-2 days work. These are just guesses, really. I would say the script should not be that complicated for an experienced php programmer. Any tidying up of the code where there are inconsistencies, is obligatory. Their work should be neat, tidy, and readable.
I need a statement that the code is compliant with xhtml/css3/php5 and works in IE9.
If this works well, then there is ample room for further development of the script.
Budgets are always tight. But I'm sure we can work something out.
