I'd hold on to it, unless you need the 2k. If there is an offer coming your way, and i assume you didn't exactly bend over backwards to advertise the domain "For Sale"; i'd be looking where the offer came from (private or corporate), etc.

Bottom line: If you don't need the cash, i'd turn it down and see whats around the corner before i make a decision. :imho:

Who knows, that offer may have come from someone that read this very thread and wanted to get the domain off you early knowing what is ahead

I think you were right to turn down the $2k. I would say the best course of action is to develop a mini-site as Damion recommended.
