Squatting at its best. WallStreet2 is a movie that will be comming out next year (i believe) it is the Sequel to the 80's movie "Wall Street" With Charlie Sheen and Michael Douglas. I believe both will be in the sequel as well, the original is a classic!

Itll definetly be getting some traffic - but if they want it from you, Its obvious that you bought it with the intention of squatting on it.

I imagine you would be safe as long as your not advertising movie related products on it because then it will look like pure cyber squatting. Also many movies now have been making their titles ridiculously long .com names which I guess is to throw off squatters such as thewallstreetmovie.com or something along that lines. You never know tho you could be approached by the movie makers themselves and offered a nice compensation to relinquish the name.

Yeah, it seems to have been registered long enough ago that it'd be hard to claim cybersquatting unless the OP is in the movie biz. I mean, come on... Wallstreet was a good movie, but who would have ever imagined that they were planning a sequal for a movie thats over 20 years old? No reasonable person would, unless like I said, they work in the industry and had some insider knowledge.

I like the domain personally, but it'll come down to what you use it for. I think it'd make a good investment type site.

i'd immediately go into development and point to anything wall street related, just to remove ALL doubts that you're interesting in profiting from the expected movie hype. you can still consider any and all offers from a movie studio, should you get some. at the same time, the movie would drive enough traffic to you that you can make a decent amount just by leveraging the power of affiliate programs to investment brokers/stock brokers, etc.

with THIS future in mind, easily mid $x.xxx

depends, how much traffic do you have right now and how much revenue are you generating through parking....
check on the affiliate programs of the broker power houses, Merryl Lynch, Price Waterhouse Coopers, etc. there are tons of them out there, i'm sure they have something in place for lead generation, sales assist.

once you know what the revenue COULD be from there, i'd calculate where the better chances are to make this domain a "golden" one and take it from there,..leave it parked or make it a mini site.

Better make a mini site out of it with affiliate links. You have much more control on the content appearing and should this movie come out you don't get any ads on your domain related to the sequal of Wallstreet.

Plus it will provide better payouts if you put some thought in the presentation of the pages and overall usability to keep the attention of your visitors.

The majority would have some sort of interest in Wallstreet and the business that goes with it.
Place a nice for sale notice in the right corner and should the marketing team of the movie Wallstreet 2 be interested in acquiring a fitting domain i'm almost sure they will inquire for the cost.

As long as you don't seriously overprice the domain then it's a possibility you get a sale out of it. And not only that if your domain is creating some revenue due to the affiliate link implementation you have something to justify your asking price.
