I don't believe the $25k price from 2008. It may be true, but to me it has the earmarks of a pump-up-the-market stat. Whether it's a total fabrication or a case of shill-bidding I'm really in no position to know for sure. Heck, it might even be true! But considering the industry is rife with fraud, I don't believe the reported sale from 2008.
