"Waiting for NamePros"

All day today namepros has been slow to load anything. All other sites I've been on today are loading fine. Cleared my cookies, temp files etc and still slow.

From around 5GMT to now i haven't had an issue bar the bank/exchange sometimes not loading.

I am betting it was network related, rather than site related

My traces / pings showed much slower than normal to namepros from my network.

I messaged others others at the time, via MSN etc, and at the exact time I couldn't get on here, others could.

I could have been some peering slowdown only affecting some people and not others.

My IP space routes over Qwest btw, on the way to Namepros. Not sure if that is related.

Not sure if this is related, but our datacenter gave us this headsup.

Over the next several weeks our network engineers will be performing router upgrades and maintenance to our edge routers in order to prepare our infrastructure for 10G interconnects. Outages are not expected but some customers might notice routing anomalies due to routing reconvergence while backbone links and internal links are moved and migrated. This work will be done after hours between 3:00am and 6:00am CST.

I had a few moments earlier where I couldn't connect. Like Jeff said, it's probably network related more so than our server or site being slow. Server load seems particularly light right now, but I'll continue to monitor it.
