Hi guys,

I just grabbed this. It was expired today. First registered in 1998.
I think it is a good geo domain for booking.com type of website or reviews of France.

Voila is a term used in french.
Google translates it as: here is

So basically the site can be translated to Here is France.

I see it as a brandable name. However, selling it could be a bit tough.
Hold it for low xxxx. Park it on Sedo for that price.
I don't see many reported sale with Voila or Voila+geo.
So, this could be one of its kind, if it does!

Agree with your appraisal, but curious to know why you recommend parking at Sedo? Do you have any success with parked pages like Sedo offers?

It would be better to redirect the domain directly to the offer page?

Sedo has associated traffic. So, you get more exposure.
You can redirect it directly to offer page as well.

It is the first time i register a geo domain that makes sense.

I think that Voila+France is working together since Voila is a french word and France in french is spelled France.

Looks like at one time it was redirected to francevoila(com) which is now being sold by a broker. FranceVoila is not as good as VoilaFrance.

I'd put some analytics on that to see if it's getting any traffic and see where it's coming from.

It also was, at one point, a property sales and rental site for french properties. LOOONG time ago.

As @EbookLover suggested, I put up together a landing page with Google Analytics incorporated.

I took a lot of inspiration from codepen, which the info there is listed as free as long as it is not commercial.

Will see if it gets some visits

Not that many, only about 1-2 a day with some peaks of 4. So almost none
