Hey guys,

I would like to hear your opinion on this name. I hand registered it in August 2010 with the hope, that Virtual Reality Marketing might become a thing one day.

I got a 4-digits offer for it last week. So I am wondering which price you would aim at if you had to sell it now. Or what you think it might be worth in a few years.

I also wonder, how much you think the term virtual reality lowers its value compared to the short form VR.

I like this one and it has potential if VR does take off as expected

The length of the name is a negative though

Keep it another 5 years, and you will then own it for 10 years and probably no buyers.
After seeing all the vr domains being regged, and the industry really does not care for the vast majority of domains regged out, I don't see much of a market for vr domains.

The lenght makes it hard to remember and easy to misspell. So it's not very attractive. I would say high $xx to low $xxx.

Read some of the threads here about negotiating - most will assume the first offer is a low opener. And find out more about who is making the offer.

Have a look at sales of *marketing.com sales on namebio.com - directmailmarketing.com sold for 17k in 2007.

To me this is a strong name in an emerging field - I would not hurry to sell it, and I would point it to a page that is not just in German to get more offers. And probably soon you'll get messages from namepros members saying it has no future and offering xx for it.
