With BitCoin making headlines all over the world by hitting the $1k mark, will this spur on other people and companies to do the same?

Just interested to see if anyone has any coin related domains ( examaple - SuperCoin.com , TradeCoin.com, MagicCoin.com, etc......)

Are these type of domains worth an investment?

Do you think Virtual Currencies are the future of online payments?

Litecoin is already competing with Bitcoin.

Due to the nature of virtual currencies, creating one is unlikely to be profitable. If it had the potential to be profitable, people wouldn't use it; the whole value comes from the fact that it's decentralized and not really controlled by anyone. Even the Bitcoin creators can't arbitrary hand out bitcoins: they need to generate them like everyone else.

Open source programmers aren't the type to pay more than registrar fees for a domain name, typically. If their desired name is taken, they'll either come up with a new name, or use a weird ccTLD, like .io (popular among developers) or .pw.
