Views on Sedo

I have most of my names parked at sedo, for a couple of them, the stats that show up (for the last 32 days) are as follows:

1 parking view, 74 views on Sedo
2 parking views, 55 views on Sedo

This means that the names have virtually no traffic at all, but how should I evaluate the other number? What does it actually tell me?

I don't think it means much of anything really, except another interesting statistic. I have a couple of domains that are like this. I didn't get any offers, but a lot of Sedo views (on domains that have no traffic). Perhaps the keywords caught their eye (or the name). I think the real indicator though is whether the domain gets offers or not. The only thing I could see maybe the Sedo view statistic being good for is maybe knowing that the offer price might be too high, but that's just speculation on my part.

I have a domain name that had 1,082 views in January, and thus far has received already 252 views in February! While those numbers aren't GREAT, they are pretty good based on my history with Sedo parking/amounts of views, IMHO. Generally, views/traffic/hits can help one to price their domains accordingly, in my opinion.

PS. No offers as yet for the domain name, and I am not sure exactly why it's been steadily increasing over the last few months ... I think there may be another spelling (theirs would be a misspell, not mine) that once had a site up and may be trying again, but don't know yet for sure. Still researching the matter ... as I'd like to sell it a.s.a.p. (it's currently listed at "Make Offer").

I am aware of that, just wondering, how to use this kind of statistics. I know what traffic's worth, at least roughly. What I don't know is if the "views on sedo" could help me evaluate the value of a particular name. Seems like it hasn't much to do with actual offers, though.

I think it might be due to the fact that if you search for a specific keyword on sedo and then arrange the names by traffic (which is what most people would do, I suppose), your name gets higher and higher position in the list, which again results in more "views on sedo" if people are curious and click on the "more info" button.
