Viajar.com (Travel, in Spanish) was just sold for €20,000,000 or about US$22.50 million.

The deal included the domain and its existing business but anyway a significant sale for all domainers, specially spanish/portuguese -speaker ones.

Viajar.com reached income of 80 million euros in 2005, behind Course (with 123 million) and eDreams (with 119 million, that together with the invoicing in international operations elevates the income to 170 million).

The transaction agreement includes the continuity of the founder and delegated advisor of the vestibule, the industralist Juan DomÃ*nguez.

After the sale of Viajar.com. the Spanish branch of Deutsche Telekom maintains other vestibules of services and product sale, like Finanzas.com, Store PC, Supermotor and Chueca.com.
