My sites get almost no traffic from MSN search engine, even they are getting good amount of traffic from Google and Yahoo. Is there a way to get better SERPs in MSN?

I have decent traffic from MSN/live.com.
It seems MSN likes to see keywords in domain name.

i agree, along with subdomains. so depending on your site, maybe you can branch off section using subdomains, ie. keyword1.domain.com and keyword2.domain.com :tu:

It looks like MSN care about how your website built and how it looks like (tables , TRs , TDs , etc..) more than Google & Yahoo ..

One of my websites was receiving fair traffic from Google then Yahoo and barely MSN (i do a good SEO for my websites and always update) , then i redesigned this website but with more attention to how my tables and TDs looks like.. i make it more like separate tables ( Like MSN & Yahoo ) , just 2 days after this update and MSN become my top SE referrer .. i donno excatly if this is the reason for sudden jump in MSN traffic or there is another reason .. but may be it is

The most important thing that needs to be understood is that MSN itself gets less number of queries then Google. So ofcourse even if you are #1 for a particular keyword in MSN and #5 for that keyword on google. You might be getting more traffic from google in some cases.

From some sites stats:
- In starting I used to get very good traffic from MSN.
- After some months google started sending the traffic and MSN stopped.
- Now again Google is already sending the traffic and MSN has also started sending in more.

If you have a site that can have multiple pages then add some content pages to it which are targeted and are MSN optimized pages. Also throw in some Google optimized pages. I have done this and each month the 3 search engines go up and down competing with each other in sending traffic to my site.

First of all MSN started sending me the traffic.
Then Yahoo used to send me lots of hits.
Then Google overtaked it and started sending more traffic then MSN and Yahoo.
Now MSN overtaked Yahoo and has started sending the traffic. :D

I am just going to do this till I get time to do this.

I don't usually worry about msn. Rankings in msn will naturally come when you have good rankings in Google and Yahoo.

This all depends on what your product/keywords are and what your trying to do with the traffic. MSN is very picky, and its slow to deliver traffic, but it converts well. Sometimes better then G or Y

I would first go for Google then keep working a MSN and yahoo will catch up. you just have to double your efforts. MSN just need many links so does yahoo. Google not quite so many. make sure to have a good optimized page that works for all three. don't use any blackhat-SEO. only Whitehat-SEO
