I must admit, I really like this name. It is very timely with the spiderman 3 release. Not to mention there could be several uses for it! After a little research I see there are companies with products named "venom" or calling themselves "venom" from he comic book character to car performance, clothing, poisonous animals all the way to snapple. Snapple has a site on venom.info! The uses for it are endless!

My first impression: COOL, POISONOUS SNAKE VIDEOS.

I really like this domain name, and eq is correct, lots of different niches/approaches, how do you choose? But, from an affiliate marketing point of view, my first thought took me to nationalgeographic.com and their affiliate program, and amazon.com, along with their various books and videos, and pets-warehouse.com for snakes and snake supplies and THEIR affiliate program, and don't forget about allposters.com and their 20% affiliate program promoting posters or how about cafepress.com's affiliate program promoting their snake t-shirts and coffee mugs and clocks, and then.....etc, etc.

Very high affiliate marketing potential, IMO.
