I just picked that one up, so here it is:

vBulletin 3.7 will feature Web 2.0 enhancements. This is definitely worth reading and will most likely set the bar for ALL other forum software available on the free and/or paid market.

Things like tag clouds, light boxes, functionality enhancements, ... ah...just read it yourself:

Official announcement:

Now, if you ask me, this looks almost convincing enough to drop $160 and grab a license...

Loads of new features aimed straight at community building: public messaging, expanded profiles, galleries, social groups and more. I like the tags, clouds and the post edit history look very useful.

nice new features, i would expect vBulletin to go Web 2.0, since web2.0 is coming our way.

Social graph lol

Sorry. I am so tired of this web 2.0 or future web 3.0 chatter.

Social graph should be the new term since facebook is backing it and google.

Just my 2 cents.

I have a vb license, and it's well worth $160.

That looks great. I can't wait to try the new features of vBulletin.

Up until this point, I would say that IPB is much more Web 2.0 than vB.

Looks good.

In this day and age when even OS is superb, its also necessary.

Well worth the money.

That's safe to say. :imho:

These look like great new features. This is exactly what I was looking for from vBulletin for a social network/forum for our church's youth group. :tu:

cool thanks :)
No prob. :) As much as I enjoy SMF on my personal site, I think vB will be getting purchased/installed on one of my other sites in the near future. It just looks a lot more professional and easier to administrate. Most of the forums I frequently visit run vB and it just looks better out of the box than the other free forums.

Agreed, i'll have to grab a license as well. This is going to be $160 well invested.
