vbAnswers
instant content generator for your vBulletin forum

Let's face it. One of the biggest problems that forum administrators is: users. And the content they provide. If you're starting your forum, you probably needed some good users that actually posted some content. That way, more users would come. But, it's not easy to bring users to your forum. A new market appeared, with lot's of "Forum Posters" and such. But hiring a company or some people to post on your forum is way too expensive and may not bring what you really need: good content and users. Thinking about that, we developed a solution for you. A script that provides your forum high-quality content fast and AUTOMATED. You just need to install our vBulletin plugin and let it do the job. How, you ask. Let me explain. vbAnswers uses the Yahoo! API to query all the content in the Yahoo! Answers service and pick that content and insert in your forum based on the configuration of the plugin, like keywords and such.

  1. You install vbAnswers on your forum
  2. You insert your Yahoo! API Application ID
  3. Then, you need to configure the vbAnswers options for every forum you have, like number of new threads per day and which content should be indexed (using tags)
  4. You set a vBulletin task for the plugin, so it can index content automatically every X times, a day, a week, a month... you decide!

Does Yahoo! allows this? Yes! The Yahoo! Developer Network provides API access to most of Yahoo!'s sources, as long as you comply with their Attribution and Usage Terms.

elaborate on that statement ?

Ico-content will work with 1 license on all sites, though it is a breach of their TOS.

That being said, what is the real difference here ?

Basically, just the price and the license rules. The structure is very similar and checking the Ico-Content features i didn't found out anything that's better or worst. Although i don't own any IcoContent license to compare the two softwares.
