Eh, I have a bunch of ejuice, ecig, vape domains that I'm not going to be renewing. Not seeing a market for the names. Checking namebio, they're not selling for much. Looks like < $200 if that.
Thanks for the feedback @namesprout! Wasn't aware of namebio as I'm pretty new to the game. I see the comps you're pulling now.
Just to try to glean a little knowledge off you...are you taking brandability and business use into consideration? From my perspective this domain stands out compared to those because of the potential for development of vape juice flavors and the ease of marketing that goes along with it.
I'm more so considering the comp prices and a bit of the current landscape. Vaping is getting cracked down on across the country. More pressure on brick and mortar and online retailers. There may be a slow down in businesses entering the space. You could hold onto it and see if it sells, but I'm not expecting much from my vape domains.
Btw, I picked up my domains with the intention of building it out. I was planning on creating an ejuice store/subscription service. Pretty competitive space and the regulations per state are getting more difficult. Moved on from the idea.
Fair enough. I create a strong business case for most of the domains I acquire so that if I ever have the itch to develop a business in the space I have the perfect domain already.
Definitely agree that regulations and such make entering the space harder which keeps expectations tempered. I plan to hold on for the right buyer on this one, but your insight will probably prohibit me from purchasing anything else in the category.
I think for vape industry it is a good name and if they go for eg $200 then it would be a good example of what should get the money. Loads of negative press keeping those numbers down.
There are vaping stores popping up all over the u.k. and vaping is definately growing here so you might do ok.I may be a newbie to domaining but not to vaping. Its a worldwide marketplace i think you will be ok.
