Vancouver - Lower Mainland BC Domainer Meeting

There seems to be a high concentration of domainers from the Greater Vancouver area, and as suggested by some others we should aim for a get together.

If this interests you leave a message with the best times for you for getting out to meet your fellow domain buyers.

Those just across the border in Washington State might also want to make the trip over - I know of someone in Blaine and another domainer in Bellingham... so don't be shy!

I'm on the Olympic Peninsula across the water from Victoria. I go up for a Canucks game now and then, and would love to meet up with some of you guys and gals.

I put a thread up at DNF as well. We'll give it a week or so to gauge interest levels and when people can be available.

I'm my own boss and single so I have all the time in the world! LOL

I added a poll - you can choose more than one time if that applies to you.

I don't get down to the mainland much anymore since moving to the north island (well Quadra) only time im down there now is too collect mail across the border (maybe once a month)

But if there is some notice (like lots of advance) I might be able to swing something :tu:

Go Kamloops way, actually better closed or not. You can get a snowstorm/bad fog/horrible road conditions anytime on the connector (mid summer even).

Remember don't be shy - if you think you can make it please state a time that is good for you. Once we start getting a good idea I'll look towards pegging down a location and set time/date.

Look forward to meeting more fellow domainers and sharing ideas, networking and feeding off one another. It's always good for business!

Maybe we just need to make it happen rather than waiting for everyone to jump up and join.

A beer or three, a burger and a handful of folks sharing is better than nothing and if it becomes a regular thing more folks will join.

Now I just got a email that CIRA will be at the Massive Tech Show in Vancouver on April 1st (tuesday) so why not plan something around that?

Hey everyone, I just joined NamePros last week, am located in Vancouver and would love to get together for some kind of meetup.

Even if there are only a few of us right now, I think it would be valuable, and after a few meetings I am sure the group will grow. Trust me, I have seen this before. All it takes is a few dedicated people to make it real, and it will snowball after a few meetings.

I was wanting to do this but little interest was shown. If you ever go through the Okanagan I would love to meet up with anybody for a beer/coffee. I am leaving next week for a month long trip down the coast to San Diego so anytime after that would be good for me.

For those in the Interior, I'll be travelling through there on my way to Alberta in a couple of months. Would be great to meet even more domainers.
