domain Value of Forum domains?

[this is a repost as I just realized that I posted it in the wrong section]

I just read a post where someone was surprised that several domains with 'forum' in them were expiring. What is the consensus of a brandforum type name where the brand is recognizable (or has potential) and the name ends with forum?

I think the other board was better for this topic.

Anyway, I would think that unless the brand name was well established, having "forum" at the end of it wouldn't do much to value... except hurt it. First market the brand name; make it popular. THEN add a forum. Just my $0.02.
