To be more specific certain creative combinations like this one due work. I have seen words like Join.Me, Ta.Co, Call.Me, Fantasy.Football among many others that are truly valuabe combinations. In this case Sofsk.in is a bit weird just does not flow right.

At the same time it is just speculation but looking at namebio.com and checking out the .in domains recently sold will give you a better perspective.

It would entirely depend on the domain in question and whether there is likely to be an end user who would develop it and then market it.

With some domain hacks there is an obvious market, but they should either be looked on as domains to be registered and flipped to other domainers who take a long term holding view or should be registered solely as a long term investment plan.
