Vacation is a top quality premium keyword. The overture and wordtracker are massive. I would have thought my domain would be within at least low to mid $xxx price range?

Two years ago, I reg'd vacation.lv thinking the same thing, especially with LV as the extension (thought it would work for las vegas)...not a single enquiry or offer. I hope you have better luck.

Ye, great idea for Vancouver seeing that the winter olympics are going to be there in 2010.

I would say hold on to it for now, maybe develop a bit, and see what it is worth some months from now.
