My buddy (nohomo) currently has 256,000 myspace friends.
I am not into the whole Myspace crowd. I have set to set up
a profile. I have an forum that I am building and appointed him
to be the forum leader for $100 flat per mo. Not because of his know-how or what not, but his networking skills.
Now his pals includes folks of all backgrounds and ages, races,
genders. Most of them 16-29 demographically. I am at a lost
of how monetize this traffic. I've checked out his page and most
of this group are into cars, bling, hiphop, potsmoking, pantydropping
type of activities.
Does anyone recommend some advertisers for this group, some
affiliates, topics? Or should I just throw up some random topics and
let him direct the flow, find the most interesting topics they discuss and
scale back accordingly. I feel kinda bad for trying to monetize off
his traffic. But in the token he's getting paid. Cellphones, ringtones,
downloadable games, Rims advertisers, and music affiliates all come
to mind.
Ive noticed that lots of people simply buy off others myspace accounts.
Should I do this? Or let him run the show?
Any feedback appreciated!
