What's with all the o's? oo.com through oooooooooooooooooooo.com (20 o's) are all registered. ooooooooooooooooooooo.com (21 o's) is available for registration :)

I really do not know why in world they register those domains. I would say something like BuyYourDellComputerToday.com is better than that one.

Well, of course for the type-in traffic, why else? :hehe:

Maybe, it's worth holding repeating letters.

Maybe for the year 2310 :).

But seriously... I can't ever see a future value in a domain that has 20 repeating O's.

Yes, but it is unlikely they pay 8 bucks for said balls of tinfoil. Well maybe on ebay if it was crinkled in the face of the Virgin Mary.

It's funny you mention that because it's partly true to some extent... I have no clue if someone will type in that many, but many of the domains with even 10 repeating letters get type-in traffic. What sense it makes? I do not know. How you'd target this traffic? Again, no clue -- but traffic nevertheless.

Personally, I think anything with more than 5 of the same letter is little more than a traffic-generating novelty.

try it on this with "a" or "x" lol

I guess it just started when someone after finding aaa.com unavailable said "hey , I'll buy aaaa.com instead" ... then the next person said "hmm , I'll buy aaaaa.com then" ... this went on and on while every person afterwards was thinking "hey , since aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.com is regged (and valuable) I will reg aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.com then"

Think of all the type in traffic we just sent them. Between teens and the boredom of college and all of us bored domainers, I can see how they get the type in traffic
