Hi Guyzz,

Just wonder, are we allowed to use ppc ads (such as adwords, ysm, goclick, and other similar ppc ad programs) for getting traffic for sites with adsense & other affiliate links & banners?

any input will be greatly appreciated.
hope to hear any response soon... thanks

Invalid Clicks and Impressions

Clicks on Google ads must result from genuine user interest. Any method that artificially generates clicks or impressions on your Google ads is strictly prohibited. These prohibited methods include but are not limited to repeated manual clicks or impressions, using robots, automated click and impression generating tools, third-party services that generate clicks or impressions such as paid-to-click, paid-to-surf, autosurf, and click-exchange programs, or any deceptive software. Please note that clicking on your own ads for any reason is prohibited. Failure to comply with this policy may lead to your account being disabled.

The above poster is wrong.

You can use PPC to generate traffic to your website using the AdSense program, the section he posted above in the TOS refers "Paid to Do" programs, not PPC programs. Remember, a PPC just sends the visitor to your site. They are referring to you paying people for click on your ads.

I'm not trying to attack you, just that it was an incorrect response. You can use PPC programs to generate traffic, you cannot use pay-per-click incentives for users to click on your ads.

Sorry.

Yes, but PPC would not produce invalid clicks. You are paying for they said traffic, and the person click that link because they had a "general interest" in the link. Remember, google doesn't give incentives for searchers to view their sponsored links :)

I don't think you understand the concept of paid-to-click or paid-to-surf, why bother wasting the time on one of my sites when you can pretty much click on 30% of adwords listing in search results and see AdSense displayed on those said websites.

If your not utilizing adwords to increase revenue on your sites that is your loss, I really don't think you should spread information that isn't accurate. You can review the official google adsense group and see other countless threads regarding this with replies all stating the same thing i'm telling you.

Type in "paid to click" or "paid to surf" into Google and just review the sites you see, this is what they refer to, not actually ad programs. What your saying is that if someone uses AdSense on their website they cannot use any advertising program what so ever to promote their site, which I'm sorry to say is wrong.

I see, I though that was what the thread was about, guess thats my fault. Anyways below is a link to the official AdSense blog on blogspot, it's an interview with a website owner who uses Adsense & Adwords together, I spent the time to find this so I'm posting it!

GoClick is just another PPC advertising company. Inexpensive, but the ads don't get as many impressions as they will with the 1st tier options.
