Use of "Euro" in domain names?

I'm not talking about money here. I'm talking about the use of "euro" in names like:

eurohomes.com
eurotrips.com
eurocars.com

I may be totally mistaken but "euro" seems more like an American term. Being from the States, I can't be sure. Do Europeans use the term "euro" to describe "all things European" or is it more of an American term that isn't used in Europe (except for currency, of course)?

Besides all that, my real questions is, would Europeans consider my example domains quality names?

I would consider Amerihomes.com to be a pretty good domain but I'm not sure I'm comparing apples to apples.

Me as an european would say... Yes. Eurocars.com would be an excellent name!

Example: Eurovisie Songfestival 2006

For us Europeans, the abrevation Euro before another word is just as catchy as in English ;)

By the way, i am from Holland.

The European common currency is also called the "euro".

IMHO, euro just targets whatever it's linked with to the european market.
