heya,

Today another UK based gaming company dumps its US operation for $1.

Bad news over bad news...

Once i received an offer for one of my poker domains from an American but i turned it down. Now i'm bangging my head on the wall..

So what happen to all "Poker" ccTLDs that were sold like hot pan cakes??

I seriously need info regarding the future of gaming domains.

Hey Sker, long time no hear

I've read posts from people that think that online poker will stay big, just not in the U.S., and that the time to buy is now because of all of the people who are trying to unload them because of the news.

But...

I've also read that you might as well give it up for poker.com's being worth anything anymore.

I'm really confused about it myself. I only have a handful of poker domains that convert well, but lately,(since the news), click amounts have pretty much plummeted for me. I'm getting .92 & .98 cent clicks now, where I was getting $6-$9 clicks.

Maybe I should give it a search too. ;)

Heya Capiche... (POP)... :hehe:
yeah its been quite a while since my last post. I've been through doldrums, hopefully i'm settled now.

Couldn't agree more on PPC income. Sedo's poker PPC always been lower than Fabulous but now its unimmaginable. I should have shelved it before. i doubt i would be a able to offload them now. lucky me, i never been poker domain investor. I just hold a pinch of poker domains.

Lets see how it goes.....

Apart from that, i was reading somewhere that verisign is a position to charge premium for renewals. All been a shock for me since i never been active on domain news for a while... is that true ?

From what I understand, it's true. I don't think it's been approved yet, but it will basically give registrars the ability to charge anything they want for renewals of domains they think are valuable, because they get traffic, etc. Sounds a lot like extortion to me.
