.us .US Domain Registrations Continue a Surge That Began in November

For the 4th month in a row new .US domain registrations rose by 5 figures. 10,055 were added in January putting .US at 1,759,975 total regs. No month in the previous 4-month period (July thru October) reached 5-figures: https://adn.us/sales-stats.htm

I personally love this extension, given the audience, it might have. US is a big market which has .COM and one of the major consumers of .COM domains as an end user. .US could be a good alternative, but somehow it hasn't been able to pick up sale wise. I would be closely watching this extension.
