Hello what do you guys think about us.com and eu.com? Do you guys think that a generic term is good for SEO?

Absolutely. Owning a generic term in any relevant TLD is a plus.

The problem is that only certain TLD are selling these days.

For example,

.Com
.Net
.Ortg
.Info
.eu
.mobi
.biz
.co.uk

are now all considered generic web extensions.

Wishing you much success,

To be rather undiplomatic about it, I think that they are junk. They are essentially subdomains with little brand recognition. If you really want to target the UK or the US then use .co.uk for the UK and .us (or .com) for the US.

Just the best ones eg casino.us.com or business.us.com
as they are too expensive. The .uk.com are much better known in the UK and
eu.com again only the best generics :imho: :imho:

So you guys are saying us.com is pretty much worthless, or all the Uk.com, eu.com is in the same class?

These are private subdomains. As JMCC says they have zero recognition.
For investment purposes definitely stay away from these :)

What about if you want to start a business do any of you guys suggest registering a generic DN for business use?

Do NOT buy any of them. The only ones worth doing are the typo names, long gone ;)
