Its a nice name, but you would need some sort of promotion to get traffic, i would expect any direct type in's just yet.

Try develop it different, get a web developer on it if you can develop scripts yourself and set up a unique directory. Dont put some free script on it, theres way to many around, people want something different and unique. If you do that, you could well be looking at thousands with unique development.

Well, I just checked three tlds and url.xx is still available.

Also, on sedo, there are some url.xx sales, but none of them got special atention, and the guy who owns url.bz asks $200 for it.

But I do not see much value in it undeveloped. Even url.in did not get any offers.

But it has enormous development potential, and then you could make a nice profit out of it.
