The site was registered with Godaddy.com on June 30th, 2006. I am not sure when it was officially established but it was shortly thereafter (within a month). I didnt start to monetize the site until March 2007 because of other projects.
Due to a family emergency I need to sell this site quickly. I dont feel that specific details about my situation need to be placed in a business auction but if you must know for some reason and are a serious bidder you can PM me.
The site generates revenue through contextual ads with the Yahoo Publishing Network and through affiliate sales with Commission Junction. Traffic is generated through Pay Per Click advertising with a several search engines. I have built an extensive keyword list over the last several months to maintain profit. Here are the revenue and profit statistics:

The YPN revenue does not include the 30th, which was around $40 and today which I would guess would be around $40. It does not include todays advertising costs which would be around $60.
YPN is not geotargetted but Ive been meaning to do that and combine Adsense with it, although its never been that big of a deal since all the traffic I sent has been US. If you do not have a YPN account Im sure Adsense will do just as well as they pay surprisingly well for medical ads. Furthermore, this is the site I got into YPN with when it had 0 traffic and after I applied with 3 different sites before it. Once the sale is closed, and if you are a US publisher, I can delete all traces of this site from my YPN account and you can reapply with it. I obviously cannot guarantee that you will get in, nor can I guarantee that deleting references to the site will delete it from Yahoos records of it (or be beneficial as opposed to having previous records) but it might help. If you do not have a Commission Junction account they are a very easy network to get into.
I would like to mention that I recently had a sour sale on digital point where I unethically accepted a higher bid after an auction had closed. The buyer didnt respond for a few hours after I sent him a message, so I went with another bidder. Once again, I apologize to the original bidder. I also accidently listed this is this site on dp, meaning to list another site. Other than that this is the third site Im selling and my biggest money earner. I was planning on selling the site or working on getting natural search engine traffic to increase the profit margins, Im not very good at SEO so I was contemplating hiring an outside agency.
Payment can be made through Escrow or Paypal. All fees need to be payed by the buyer. If you have an alternate payment method feel free to suggest it but I prefer the two I listed.
The current bid is 5,100. The BIN is 12,000. The reserve is fairly close to the BIN but as you can imagine at this point, I'm willing to consider all reasonable bids considering my situation. The auction ends in approx. 5 hours. The auction is also posted here:

Payment:
Escrow
Paypal
Any other payment method that is reasonable (no western union, I dont want to get scammed)
