I'm living in upstate NY right now. I'm originally from Arizona, and we always just said NORTHERN ARIZONA. So when I came to NY, I noticed how many people say their either from NYC or "upstate". I just thought I'd give the domain a shot, and sure enough, it was available. I grabbed it now, and I'm still pretty certain it's a good find. My only concern is the NY. Do you think upstatenewyork.us is a better name?

Wow, thank you for that amazing appraisal, filtered. Even if you had said it isn't worth a dime I would've appreciated the time you put into that appraisal. I'll give your name a shot, but I am relatively new to the business, so my opinion would be based on my limited experience.

Not a problem. In my opinion, a domain appraisal is about more than just looking at what everyone else said and copying it. I feel it's important to tell people why you're giving their domain the value you are. Everyone should put some work into or not post..That's just my two cents though..
