Updating the name servers?

Once someone changes the name servers how long dose it take to update?

Is there a way to make it update faster, like buy cleaning out your cash or somthing?

anywhere from instantly to 72 hours. It depends on the routers between the end user and the router where the DNS is stored. Some routers update DNS very often, some only every day or two.

If you yourself want to access quicker, you can change the DNS server settings on the machine you are on to match the DNS IP numbers of the server your domain is hosted at instead of that of your IP. It won't mean the rest of the world will see in any sooner, but might help you in publishing or troubleshooting, or getting email quicker.

Don't forget to change it back though. I once did that and there was an error. My site was down everywhere on the internet except my computer, but I couldn't tell. I was accessing the DNS on my host server, but the rest of the world was seeing different DNS for the domain because mine wasn't the authoritative one on registered at the domain registrar due to a typo.
