Dotster Name Server Update -- How Long?

How long does it take Dotster to update name servers for a domain? I know many (most?) registrars do name server updates instantly nowadays, but I submitted name server changes to a Dotster-registered domain several hours ago and so far nothing has changed.

I verified by their control panel that the changes were made (and also got an e-mail confirmation) but when I look at WHOIS information it still shows the old name servers. How long is this going to take?

Based on my personal experience (I have/had a LOT of domains with Dotster) ... 24 - 72 hours, depending! :imho:

It wound up taking about 6 hours. Not instantly (like Tucows or RegisterFly) but at least better than 24-72!

Yep, 72 hours for them to resolve for me once ... I'll admit, that was some time ago! :gl:
