Hey NamePros. Brady here, growth lead at Unstoppable Domains - a newly ICANN-accredited registrar and marketplace.

We're on a mission to modernize domaining by bringing domains onchain. We give you everything you want in a marketplace:
  • 3% commissions
  • At-cost registrations & renewals
  • Direct negotiation, no brokers
  • SedoMLS & Afternic integration
Plus, onchain superpowers you didn't know you needed:
  • Access to new onchain buyers
  • No transfer fees or lockups
  • Settlement times in seconds, not weeks
  • Eventually - lending and other decentralized finance tools
Come check us out. You'll never go back after experiencing faster, cheaper, and easier domaining onchain.

We'll use this thread to share announcements and get feedback from domainers like you. Drop me a line at [email protected] if you want to chat.

Cheers!

Yes, it has happened to me. If you disable privacy, I think it'll work.

Yes, it's a bit strange. You can speed up the transfer at most registrars. Once you do that, it's a matter of minutes.

What's also weird is that 5 of my transfers got reported as failed. Yet 3 of them did actually successfully transfer - I can see them as registered with Unstoppable if I do a WHOIS. But they still don't show up on my domain dashboard.

I have never needed to disable Privacy for Namecheap or Dynadot. The main player that does insist on it is GOD(addy).
5 days is not required for a transfer. It's 1 hour if systems are working correctly and domainer uses the Registrars UI to approve instant transfer for the pending transfer. GOD(addy) is again the worst in this area as the email they send, as the losing Registrar, makes no reference to instant transfers available in their UI.

Some other Registrars are far from clear but read between the lines for Dynadot and Namecheap and it's instant (< 1 hour) to transfer, if you approve it. Don't approve and it's 5 days.

For some registrars, you need to manually approve the outbound transfer. If not, they don't honor the transfer out request and they simply deny it by default. "Z dot com" is one those.. it happened to me.

Same thing happened to me. Did you have to open a ticket, or we just need to wait?

Beware, this company can suspend the domain ANY time.

They ban immediately, without any notice or ability to respond.

I had a domain with another registrar for years (name-com), no problems, hosted a site of a popular telegram community about paypal.

Moved the domain here and it was suspended "due to a verified report of phishing".

No report was provided. No support.

Are you sure this wasn't the registry itself? If so, unstoppable might not have any control over it

This statement suggests that unstoppable domains stopped my domain:

```
We have had to take immediate action on your domain, due to a verified report of phishing.
```

They did not provide any report or any details. Or a way to respond or address the issue.

look truth is u r first and only to say it .. so to claim they can suspend any domain of anyone anytime translates into 0.001% of all their names maybe.

compared to 9k savings its laughable too.

so its com?
normally shit tlds like online .. xyz etc suspend for spam... but it's still rare...

either way.. i think it happens at registry anyway ... not too sure... cause as I said it's almost non existent.

Recently, we have received reports of fraudulent emails impersonating Unstoppable Domains with subjects like “Immediate Action Required to Secure Your Web3 Domains.” These emails urge you to “re-authenticate your account and update your profile information.” These messages are not from Unstoppable Domains. Generally, decent providers send a prior notice in case of a problem.
Or you can contact Live chat on the site and get a prompt response.

Otherwise, how supposed to host valuable domains here? Purchased for 3k, for 10k?
If a random person or a one-man company can suspend it at any time.

The domain was a .com with tools and guides for working with PayPal (i.e. website of country-specific TG community).
