Hi,
Does anyone have any idea how much unrevivable.com is worth?
I recently registered this for a project that never happened so I'm trying to get rid of it. It is registered with Namecheap (and is on the marketplace) and is parked through NameDrive. It is currently listed at £399 ($460) as this was Sedo's online valuation. I am however, completely prepared for the fact that it might be worth much less.

Thanks guys,

hi, to help you out a little. Before you register a domain, its quite easy to see how the domain will sell and how fast possibly BEFORE you even register it. - or if the market is even interested in the name at all. On TrendingKeywords.com i've linked some great tools to use, and a little information on how to use them. Take for example the domain i registered today - "unhealing" I looked at the market trends using the trending tool on trending keywords, it gave me this
(had to remove the http because of some rule here about can't post a pic yadda yadda - add your own http)

://tinypic.com/r/dc95pw/5

By that i could see there was moderate interest in the word, and that the trend was INCREASING as time went on.
So then I went to the keyword tool to see what the market value itself was, it gave me this
://i43.tinypic.com/24dizk8.jpg

It auto generates the most common keyword associated with the word (domain) in this case it was "wounds" . it shows the estimated cost per click if i advertise on the site, what the current trend is, and the best part... how may OTHER dot com's will be competing against my domain - in this case its hardly nobody. So after a few emails, that included the graphs to demonstrate the marketing trends, I landed a paid account for 1500 per year to RENT the domain from me. since i saw it was medical related in the trends.

In short, if you want to self valuate, research the name before you register the domain. look to see if the market reflects any value or increasing trends BEFORE you pay to register it, if you've already registered a name, don't give up.. the market and current trends change all the time - hope this helps, and gives you some knowledge on how to choose domains and how to market them.

Thanks. The thing is, I didn't buy this domain as an investment. I purchased it in order to develop an idea, but changing circumstances mean I'll no longer be doing this. I'm just concerned with recouping the registration fee, any value would be a bonus.

for a quick sale, (just my input) I would use an online source like valuate.com - it shows the value at $230. or estibot. save the valuation certificate or link to it. The most common associated keywords are Psychology, Gaming, Online gaming, . unrevivable + game in the trends section is very high! for a quick sale, find some established online gaming sites, send them a quick email and offer it for half of the appraisal and negotiate from there. they may want to use it for gaming purposes. etc. It never hurts to market an item, and you might actually make a fast buck off it.

I'm aware this site is about "appraisals" but some input to help others on HOW to use said appraisal never hurts.

Thank you, I'll look into that. Its nice to know it might have some value.

I have never used this word in my whole life. Obscure dictionary keywords with no practical use have no particular value.
Ignore automated appraisals, they are all rubbish. Domains don't sell because they have appraisals, they sell because somebody wants them and will pay. 99% of domains will never sell because nobody wants to buy them.
I just don't see who needs this particular domain, to the point of paying.

exactly my point, just because you don't "see" who would want it, is when market research comes in - to "see" who would. Just because YOU don't use the word or care for it, does not mean someone else wouldn't. You have to research to find its nook if its already been registered and you wish to get rid of it. the online gaming world is one of the biggest markets out there today, and "unrevivable" IS directly related to the gaming lingo and used quite frequently.
