2. -$$$$ or more if Visa™ decides they want to fight you for it.

Look .. "visa" is a generic term. It's a document that lets you enter a country.

So long as the OP doesn't use this in a way that infringes on the credit card company's ™, I don't see a problem with this domain.

Edit: I just realized the the domain is parked at Sedo with Visa/credit card ads right now. That is bad faith (™ infringing).

visa.pro has been sold with no problem. Plus, visa.la visa.ac visa.io and visa.cc haven't been acquired by VISA INTERNATIONAL SERVICE ASSOCIATION.

I believe that .sc's greatest strength lies in its potential alternative public perception as the abbreviation for the State of South Carolina. Still, you need a relevant nexus in order for a .sc domainer to benefit from that perception. (ie. realty.sc fits the bill) As the attainment of visas for entry into the United States is a function of Federal, not State, law, the nexus here would be fairly weak. That is just one of the reasons that .Pro is a superior extension. But again, that's not to say that purchase of any given .sc domain is inherently a poor investment. As is often the case in more extensions than not, it just depends...... :imho:

Is Visa as good as Jobs, Hotel, or Realty? Probably not. And arguably, those three could have some relevance to SC as South Carolina.

To get some extra value out of visa.sc, it needs to be developed. And, if you're going to develop it, perhaps it would better to just get webvisahelp.com or something else for reg fees. It may be easier for people to understand the relevance of a domain like that compared to trying to understand the relevance of .sc to visa.

All of this assumes it's for some type of travel application and not credit related.
