domain unrecordable.com

Hi,

Today I found out that Unrecordable.com was recently dropped so I decided to register it with the .net .org and .info. I would like to know what you guys think about it.

I tought it would be interesting for companies like macrovision etc...

What do you think will be the best development idea of that domain and how can it be useful? Please tell us why it is interesting.

My personal tought on this was that companies like macrovision that build in copy protections on dvd etc. could be interested in the domain.

Also companies that build software that records stuff that normally is viewed as "unrecordable" like streams from the internet...

Good point. Media Piracy is a multi-billion loss for the recording/entertainment industry and a solution must be developed.

Just a suggestion, why not develop the domain/s for the meantime, put up a blog for example. Discuss piracy, the problems that it creates and possible solutions, news updates, links to sites of interest etc. Create it's "brand" so your target buyers would see why they need to buy your domains/website.

I believe selling it parked or empty wouldn't appreciate usefulness and value of this type of domain. Try to develop, slowly and expertly.

Yeah, don't be in a hurry to sell. I know that you registered that, and the other gtld, because you believe "it has something special".

Develop it at your best and you'll see a positive future, believe me.

Well, music is personal taste and alltough the artists you mentioned are realy not my favorite theire sadly enough still recordable...

But thats also an idea... Give people a place where they can throw out theire personal frustrations against an artist :D

Yes, thank you for giving me a idea i havent tought of yet... Hmmm it will be hard to choose between those two but I like the star bashing concept the most atm :D As far as I know there are non or just a few sites like this and its a easy and verry related domain for this topic!! Hell, it can even be used for movies! Realy thnx for your idea aprilfocus
