The Site

Thinking about selling this site, http://www.customizeyourspace.com because I don't have time to keep up with it and want money for vacation. :hehe:

I originally did purchase the standard myspace scripts everyone has, but have added a lot of extras. Some nice features that were added, is creating graphic pages is very easy, it just consists of uploading the graphics and running a read script to gather all the filenames that were uploaded. so adding 1000s of graphics is not time consuming. I also have something similar for videos. Currently I am just using google video / youtube video to save from bandwidth going nuts.

Site was created in Feb, last month was the first full month and this month traffic and revenue seems it will surpass last months. Income is generated from Adsense and BannerConnect.net. If you have yahoo you could make a substantial amount more I believe.

This site has great potential, just needs a webmaster that is willing to put some work into it.

nice site. How much do you spend monthly on advertising? It looks like you are asking 10 months revenue, however for a site that is 2 months old I would only be willing to offer maybe 5 months rev.

I spend $0 on advertising. Sorry, I am not interested in 5 months revenue. If I don't get somewhere in area I am looking I will just hold it and continue to develop it.

My main issue is the bandwidth, are you running a dedicated server? Looks like your on the verge of needing an unmetered server which can get mucho expensive.

What needs to be done for the site? Is it more of daily maintenance (adding new stuff) or there's enough content to let me focus more on advertising and just let it run by itself?

well bandwidth isnt a problem yet. I have it hosted through site5, which i get 750 gig per month for $17/m. so i still have a good amount of bandwidth left before i need to worry about that :P. Unmetered servers can be found pretty cheap, around $130, which isn't bad if the site grows to need that.

As far as site, upkeep would consist of adding new content, new generators, also the layouts section is incomplete, i never got around to creating new layouts and redoing that section of the site.

currently have a private bid at 2k. Site seems it will reach $300 this month in revenue. BIN only $2500 via paypal with quick transaction of files and domain.

only because awstats is counting every person that might see an image or whatnot on a profile, but hasnt actually visited my site. so roughly 600-1000 true uniques daily and growing.

also domain is now PR5 which i just noticed today.
