Uncoded wordpress sales

I realize this isn't exactly domains so this may not belong in "domain" newbies but i would really appreciate an answer none the less.

I have been making my own wordpress templates for personal use for a few years now and i always get compliments from my peers on how great they look however they always perform horribly. basically what i was wondering is how often you can actually sell a non coded template. Also if you could offer any advice on selling non coded templates i would greatly appreciate it!

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "perform horribly". Have you been trying to sell them?

The main problems I can think of is that the price may be too high. There are so many free templates out there that it would have to be avery good template, but I would also have to have some reason for spending much money for it.

It could be that you are just not reaching the customers that are looking for and can afford what you offer. If you have a site to sell them you may need to do some web marketing to find customers.

Actually, I just remembered that I bookmarked a site that sells WP templates. They had one that looks like a magazine or newspaper and I thought the cost was not too much to think about maybe getting. It was themes.bavotasan.com.
