Estibot puts a value of about $250 on this domain, but I like it so I am wondering what price I should let it go for if I get an offer.

Thanks for your help!

I'm not sure how you can "unabandon" something. Try and think of what this domain could be used for, I can't think of much myself. Perhaps in the $xx range I would say, unless you can think of a use for it.

(Actually, I can think of one: perhaps the sale/auction of abandoned buildings/houses or something. Try and find an end user, and go for as much as you can get!)

The name is brandable. I don't see many end users for such a word though, worth mid $xx undeveloped imo.

This name reminds me of the movie Unforgiven (1992). You would "unabandon" something or someone by never leaving them or "abandoning" them.

If something is unabandoned, it must have some worth or value because it has not be left or given up on. It is retained or kept.

So my first thought was about love. We generally don't abandon those we love. We don't abandon our home, car, or bank account unless they lose their value. We may be barred from something, but that is not the same as if we abandon it.

I thought like "unforsaken" that "unabandoned" would make a great book or movie title. I see now that the meanings are almost the same.

This has been very useful to me since I understand now that if someone cannot see the potential in a domain clearly, they will not think it is worth much.

But when you have someone contact you about a domain, you know right away that they see some value in it. My problem is how do I respond with a price when someone asks for one? So if people would just give me a quick idea of what they think the value is, no matter what that is, then that may help me.

Depending upon the enquiry I would ask the potential buyer to send his/her best offer. It seems that an end user has contacted you. I would try to sell it for $500 +/-. Best of luck.

I would pretty much agree with the above. If you've gotten an offer, if its at $500 or above you've done very well with it.

Thanks for the feedback. It is all useful. I don't have an offer yet, but I have had a LOT of problems getting people to do that. Any suggestions on how to get an end user to name at least a starting price?

Problem is I just cant see any end user interest. its not a end user friendly domain. why i would say low xx value. If you get any enduser interest I would let them set the price and take anything over $100.
