i wanted to try to start a thread at NP on Typos discussion & showcase..

feel free to share any or thoughts as I also hope to (I frequent the nice chatroom here)

what types of potential traffic numbers are we talking about?

domain sales are "one-time" and we hope for just that bigtime domain buy begotten by asking for the moon on initial offer negotiations; though, with traffic domains landed ideally you can get ppc paid tomorrows for yesterday's work.

..after domaining since january 1999, realized finally appreciation of such vast opportunity still with typos and more will be made available with future trafficked sites' news (this an old school domainers' niche)

I regged the typo: Lesbiams dot com 2 weeks ago

It gets some traffic and has earned a few cents via parking so far

If it only earns a few cents in two weeks time then it makes sense why it was available imo

There are also PLENTY of domains that are incorrectly spelled and earn nothing, that are NOT available.

Generally, adult domains in parking earn peanuts, based on amount of visitors vs earnings.
What that means is, you need high amounts of traffic to have success with such domains AND good origin of traffic (ie. high CPC countries).

Yes, I am seeing that and totally agree with you.

I had been out of domaing for 8-9 years so just kind of seeing/testing the current parking landscape.

I seem to remember these types of domains getting much higher cpc back then.

It is definitely a lesson learned

well w' traffic, could combine like 50 of em, you get it everyday ffor yesterday's work so not yet, was experiencing traffic espionage all around, later on probz, but for now utlilizing pointing to others to point out the problems internet faces, it's not fair trade like most assumed (nsa etc.) so my friend for cooptation former CIA buck sexton on twitter i pointed my epik domains traffic to his one tweet and before stopped like more than a day look at this/his uncanny traffic!!!

the problem is on server side/backend some people/internet providers duping my sites, subdomains, so it's no longer my uniques.. still working on it
