i wanted to try to start a thread at NP on Typos discussion & showcase..

feel free to share any or thoughts as I also hope to (I frequent the nice chatroom here)

what types of potential traffic numbers are we talking about?

domain sales are "one-time" and we hope for just that bigtime domain buy begotten by asking for the moon on initial offer negotiations; though, with traffic domains landed ideally you can get ppc paid tomorrows for yesterday's work.

..after domaining since january 1999, realized finally appreciation of such vast opportunity still with typos and more will be made available with future trafficked sites' news (this an old school domainers' niche)

I own TypoNames (com) hahaha, but sadly not a typo to show off good #s for - but still relevant to the thread? I hope.

I have a couple typos, got some time ago to experiment and they always get a bit of traffic, they are:
imigration (this one is dot net) & invesments (and that one is com).

Not much experience with typos, but interesting post and hope to learn something new.

looks like my best typo recently regged so lucky $12 is http://wwwgoogleplus.com because in addition to people typing it in to go to g+ (hope stays) there are credible sources showing at least 5000 backlinks as icing on the cake; just hope for full traffic responsibility from this authority..

Generally, adult domains in parking earn peanuts, based on amount of visitors vs earnings.
What that means is, you need high amounts of traffic to have success with such domains AND good origin of traffic (ie. high CPC countries).

Yes, I am seeing that and totally agree with you.

I had been out of domaing for 8-9 years so just kind of seeing/testing the current parking landscape.

I seem to remember these types of domains getting much higher cpc back then.

It is definitely a lesson learned

i was able to get some great indonesia wwwname.com's with even low alexa global rank since indonesia is 4th by population (china and india top typos not available for me) and the www since they are still learning the internet the most relatively.. great traffic finds..

There are also PLENTY of domains that are incorrectly spelled and earn nothing, that are NOT available.

I'm sort of in a bad luck...I've got miflvr com .. Milfvr is a proper porn site.. Wanted to become an affiliate of it, but in India, it's technically illegal to even be an affiliate to porn. I see all the traffic coming my way going waste. If someone can advise me, please PM how to circumvent this problem?
