There are no restrictions to owning a .co.uk SLD, but like the .com, there are certain conditions you should be familiar with. I would suggest you might like to visit the link below into Nominet UK's site, where you should find all you need to know about them:

As for price, well, it's a premium LLL, and some guidance has been given. It's not the most objective of comparisons, but it should help to a degree. The domain has been on Sedo for about 7 days.
For the record, almost half of all the LLL.co.uks are held with one registrant alone, and even non-generic LLLs command a very good price. Generic LLLs seldom come on to market!

John645:- It's not being sold for current traffic TBH, but its clear generic potential. In that respect, it is a clean slate, although there is currently minimal traffic.
